Blogger Besties check out the High Tea Party at the Hilton

It’s my first time attending an event as a blogger!

My bestie Suzi Dang scored us media passes to attend The High Tea Party event at the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane on Saturday the 16th of March 2019. It was my first event attending as a blogger!

The High Tea Party is a monthly luxe dining event held at a five star venue in a different major city around Australia. It’s a whole day soiree with your gal pals, with a constant supply of sparkling wine in your own keepsake glass, high tea in a ballroom with designer china and a catwalk fashion parade for entertainment, plus boutique shopping and complimentary beauty treatment stations outside the ballroom.

If you would like to attend The High Tea Party, the next event is in the Gold Coast at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the 18th May 2019. Tickets on the day are $99 (if not sold out) but you can get early bird prices if you’re quick to book for $59 - $75.

A fashion show with diversity (finally!)

The fashion parade showcased designer apparel by Birdsnest and lingerie by Intimo Lingerie. The fashion show featured diverse models of different age groups, sizes and ethnicity! I loved this the most. I appreciated seeing designer brands getting behind inclusivity. More fashion events like this please!

Boutique shopping, complimentary beauty pampering and a pink carpet!

In case you’re wondering, my dress is from Popcherry! I love this online store - members get huge discounts on clothing.

Here’s me getting my brows filled-in with Splash Proof Makeup at a complimentary beauty station.

“Would you like to get your brows done love?” ”Ah nah I’m good.” ”Your brows are looking a bit sparse… it’s free and the brow powder is water proof!” ”I want them thiccc'“

How cute are Suzi’s earrings? Love statement pieces like these. LMAO my caterpillar brows after getting them filled in by the makeup artist… Well, at least they’re splash-proof and won’t come off, should I decide to use the pool at this hotel!

My makeup look for the day was natural, just a nude eye shadow by Estee Lauder and a pop of lip colour (matte lipstick ‘Mehr’ by MAC).

We ate and drank from designer china. I can’t remember the name of the brand but I remember seeing the price tag on a tea cup and hoped I wouldn’t drop it!

The High Tea Party is sponsored by Woman’s Day magazine and supports the Love Your Sister charity for cancer research.

Stay tuned for our next event as bloggers! We’ve got media passes for An Afternoon With The Girls at the Crowne Plaza, Gold Coast next weekend. So excited!

xx Dr P.
